Over the weekend, my family and I saw the new Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. It was great! Sooooo many baby raccoons.
A new character was also introduced. I had no idea he was new, of course, since I'm not that knowledgeable about comics and what not, but when I got home I googled "furry creature guardians movie new" (ha) and I found Blurp. That's his name! I was like "I should totally crochet one of those!" But I also don't want to get another phone call from anyone in mouse ears, so ya know, I decided to just make a tiny one and post it here for free. Because its little and cute and I think anyone could use a baby Blurp.
This pattern is free and not to be sold anywhere, so don't. If you're wanting to make these and sell them, don't do that. I mean, I can't stop you, but it's not a good idea.
TIPS? Yeah I got some tips:
Use a stitch marker when working with fur yarn. You won't be able to "see" stitches and you'll need to count them by feel.
Using a different yarn will give you different results. Lighter gauge yarn will make Blurp tiny, and Heavier yarn and a larger hook with make him bigger.
When you're finished, you might need to trim the fur all over.
