Frequently Asked Questions
ORDERS
When will my order ship?
-
Shipments are made on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. In some circumstances shipments may be made other days of the week, but never fewer than three times a week.
How long will it take to get my order?
-
Digital orders are available as soon as you receive your order confirmation email (within minutes).
-
All shipping has been taking much longer than anticipated due to Covid-19. USPS has been taking several days extra and the tracking has been inaccurate. For a better turnaround time I highly encourage you to choose USPS Priority shipping at checkout if possible.

YARN
What weight is AmiguruMe SkinTones?
-
AmiguruMe SkinTones is a light worsted weight. It could be classified as a DK but is within the WPI (wraps per inch) for worsted and has worked well with other lighter worsted weight yarns I use.
How many balls of yarn do I need?
-
If you are making a regular size doll you will only need one ball and you will have plenty leftover. If you are making smaller dolls (Friends, Golden Girls, etc), you will only need one ball for a whole set.
My yarn smells like cedar?
-
I store all of my yarn in sealed crates. The crates have cedar planks inside to keep out any moths or other pests.
Is your yarn available in stores?
-
At this time my yarn is only available at craftyiscool.com. Each order is hand-labeled and hand-packed by little old me.

PATTERN POLICIES

Where can I buy your Baby Yoda pattern?
-
I am no longer selling a pattern to make that specific doll, however I have a Bear Cub pattern and a Baby Elephant pattern that both come with complete instructions to make large stuffed creatures and both include patterns for elongated rabbit ears.
Can I share my purchased pattern online or send it to my friends?
-
Crochet patterns are not transferable. Do not share or post the patterns online in any form, in whole or in part. The characters depicted in the patterns are for use as fan art, and no copyright of established or licensed characters is implied.
-
If you are found to have shared a crochet pattern online, posted it in a group, pinterest, instagram, facebook, etc, you will be disqualified from purchasing further patterns in the future.
May I sell finished items that I make from your patterns?
-
Objects made from patterns may be sold in limited quantity (not mass produced) as long as credit is given: "Pattern by Allison Hoffman/craftyiscool.com". I am not responsible for any sales or fees from the sale of finished items from my patterns. I do not regulate the sales of items from my books and that should be taken up with the publisher of each book.
The link in my email says my access is expired. What do I do?
-
If you have waited more than 30 days to download your pattern(s), simply send me an email and I will resend your link.
RETURNS

Can I get a refund on my order?
-
Downloadable patterns are not eligible for returns or refunds. There are no returns on digital downloads, no exceptions.
-
Yarn is returnable at the buyer's expense if it is unused and in new condition. Damaged yarn can be exchanged if it is not the fault of the customer or natural occurrences.
